Enroll a New Student or Update Information in Skyward

Updated on August 11, 2020

All Klein ISD families, new and returning, will choose which learning option best fits the needs of their students — either Klein On-Campus or Klein Online.

Families will indicate their choice for each of their students during the Annual Student Information Update (returning students) or New Student Enrollment (new students) using the Skyward Family Access Center, to ensure every student has a schedule ready for the first day of school.

The choice made for Klein On-Campus or Klein Online prior to the July 31st verification window will continue to be honored. If a family wishes to move to Klein Online at anytime, they will let their campus know for a seamless transition. Klein On-Campus is a grading period commitment, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Families will also indicate their availability of internet access at home for all students and availability of devices for their elementary-aged student(s), so that the district may plan appropriate support.

Families of returning Klein ISD students who do not select an option for each of their students, will be automatically enrolled in Klein On-Campus Learning. Please help us appropriately staff and plan for a successful 20-21 school year by prioritizing the completion of the Annual Student Information Update.
